The steering group committee for the HyGEM project is chaired by the Primary Investigator (Professor, PhD Esben Auken, Aarhus University) and is composed of the workpackage leaders, and one key person from each partner in the project. The committee is the main forum to coordinate and direct the activities within the project. Major issues concerning modifications of project plans both scientifically, financially, and managerially must be confirmed by the Steering Committee.

The steering group committee meets twice per year. It is the committee responsibility to ensure that all parts of the co-operation agreement between the project partners is withhold.
